The 2012 Spring Fling was held May 2, in El Dorado, KS, at three site locations: the Civic Center, 4-H Bldg, and the El Dorado Senior Center. All locations are in a convenient loop in the downtown area. A free shuttle service made it possible for visitors to the event to park at one location and ride the shuttle to the other three. Free golf carts ride eased the walking furthing by offering rides from visitors' vehicles to the front door of each site.
This is the largest event held in Butler County that focuses on our older population and their caregivers. An estimated 800 people attended this popular event which consisted of over 128 booths, a free photo booth, Monterey lunches for $6, door prizes at every booth, and giveaways. But the main reason people attended: a wonderful way to reconnect with friends. See everyone in 2013!!
